This is my waking nightmare. At least it was before I personally proposed to my (now) wife on a beach. No pun intended, but things went swimmingly.

That wasn't so much the case with this unlucky couple. This man had the right idea. Everything seemed mapped out perfectly. There's an entire shrine highlighted by a light-up "MARRY ME" sign for christ's sake.

Unfortunately the execution left something to be desired. The man dropped the ring. In the sand. IN THE DARK. Good luck. That's all I have to say.
